2. What are the hours of operation for the Main Hall of Shihlin Official Residence?
Hours of operation: Tuesday to Sunday 9:30 ~ 12:00, 13:30~17:00
Visitors holding tickets can freely stroll around the venue. Limited access applies in sessions when more than 100 visitors are in the Main Hall.
Noon break: 12:00~13:30 for cleaning. Closed: Mondays, Chinese New Year, Tomb Sweeping Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and scheduled maintenance period (two weeks in September every year) and under particular circumstances.  

3. Ticketing Information
Adult tickets: NT$100; group tickets: NT$80 (20 people or more). Discount tickets: NT$50 (1.Students with valid student ID or ISIC, 2. Citizens aged 65 and above, 3. Residents of Shihlin District of Taipei, 4. Volunteers with Honor Cards for Voluntary Service, 5. Holders of Low Income Household certification in Taipei). Tickets are valid only on the day purchased. Free entry is available for preschool children and the disabled and one companion. Ticket sales: 9:30~11:20, 13:30~16:20.    
  
4. Visiting
Free movement. Limited access applies in sessions when more than 100 visitors are in the Main Hall.

5. Tour Guides
Visitors can borrow personal audio guides at no charge by exchanging a photo ID. Short guided tours (30-40 minutes each) are available at 10:00, 11:00, 14:00, 15:00 and 16:00. Each will accept up to 30 visitors and advanced online reservations are required.   

6. Online reservations and on-site reports of information
Online reservations may be made 2~30 days before the day of the day of the visit. See Q1 for the website address to make reservations. After purchasing tickets, visitors are asked to report to the service counter in the Main Hall 10 minutes before the tour begins. In case of no-shows, visitors who register on-site will fill vacancies in the order they arrived.

8. Deposit Regulations
Visitors with personal belongings larger than A4 size are requested to deposit such items. This is to avoid congestion inside the Main Hall, which has many narrow passages and spaces. Checking personal items is not compulsory. 

9. Photographing and recording and are not allowed in the Main Hall of Shihlin Official Residence.
To ensure the preservation of cultural and historical relics, photography and recording are prohibited inside the Main Hall.
