2017 Taipei Film Festival International New Talent Competition Information
Q: How to join the 2017 Taipei Film Festival International New Talent Competition? A: Organized by the Taipei City Government, and hosted by the Taipei Culture Foundation, Taipei Film Festival will enter its 19th edition in 2017 with event duration from June 29 to July 15, 2017. In order to promote the creativity of new directors, the International New Talent Competition is now accepting entries, in a bid to stimulate and enhance the competitiveness of domestic creators through the exchange with their international peers. In the meanwhile, the competition allows local audience to know more about excellent international new film creators. The submission should be the first or second DCP/ 35mm full length film by the contestants, with time duration above 70 minutes, and should be publicly screened no earlier than March 25, 2016. The 1st prize is NT$600,000 along with a medal. Submission ends on March 24, 2017.
