In 2021, the operation of Taipei historic building Beitou Plum Garden was handed over to Taipei Culture Foundation, and it was transformed from a tourist information station to a multifaceted historical site promoting the Beitou Ecomuseum and memories of life in Beitou.
 
The Taipei Department of Cultural Affairs spent two years inspecting construction and maintenance work and carrying out historical surveys and research at the Plum Garden, eventually collating the stories of this fascinating historical building.
 
In October 2022, Beitou Plum Garden will extend its exhibition and event series centered on research outcomes and memories of life in Beitou.
