Department of Cultural Affairs

For the 2022 Taipei Poetry Festival, held by the Taipei Department of Cultural Affairs, curators Hung Hung (鴻鴻) and Yang Chia-hsien (楊佳嫻) decided on the theme of Poetry in Diffusion, appropriating vocabulary used to describe viral infiltration and subverting its meaning to conjure up imagery of the beauty and courage of poetry, spreading throughout the city like dandelion seeds spinning on the wind.
 
This year, the festival will welcome numerous poets and artists, who will use poetry to take us beyond boundaries. The event will be held from September 24 to October 9 at Taipei Zhongshan Hall, Kishu An Forest of Literature, SPOT Taipei Film House, Fembooks Publishing House & Bookstore, and APA Mini, bringing a variety of different poetic imaginations to the public.
