Taipei Music Non-stop: Roll Up Taipei was initiated by the Taipei Department of Cultural Affairs in 2015 as a way to encourage and support music creation and nurture budding creative talent. Taipei Music Non-stop is a selection process for original music creation that involves building up the brand image of urban music and promoting and developing original music creation. 

Entering its eighth year in 2022, for the first time—and as an extension of the successes and experiences of previous editions—the event will be hosted by the Taipei Music Center, providing musicians with a platform for expression and opportunities for professional training. Pop music promotional activities will be held alongside the event, with celebrities and behind-the-scenes professionals in pop music sharing their experiences and stimulating the audience’s listening habits to build creative energy within the city.

The 2022 event is centered on the theme Endless Music, Creation and Industry Activity. Original musical performances will be staged at the outdoor plaza at Taipei Music Center from November 11 to 13. Performances will feature this year’s six winning teams and the winning teams and well-known bands from past editions.
