Art Festival in Community—2022 “Dance of Jazz”—Juedai Contemporary Jazz Dance Theater
 
Program:
Over the years, Juedai Contemporary Jazz Dance Theater has created many dance sketches well-loved by the public, both wild, catchy pop numbers and promotional work choreographed for iconic jazz dances from various eras. Stunning interactive acrobatic performances are interspersed, coupled with highlights such as contests and on-site dance lessons to increase audience participation. All are suitable for families, so the general public can relax and enjoy an arts extravaganza that meets the mark in terms of both artistic quality and entertainment value.
 
About the troupe:
Juedai Contemporary Jazz Dance Theater was founded in 2005 by husband and wife Lin Chih-Ping (林志斌) and Pan Yu-Chen (潘鈺楨). Since 2009, it has been recognized as an outstanding arts group every year by the National Culture and Arts Foundation. Juedai has performed with many outstanding choreographers, musicians, designers, and performers. The troupe boldly combines martial arts, acrobatics and dance to create a style unique to Taiwan that integrates elements of both Eastern and Western cultures and reflects Taiwanese society, life and culture.
