Introduction:
Cultural assets not only show historical change in microcosm; they are also important symbolic representations of the emotions of local residents.
 
Chen Te-Chun’s introduction talk will look at the patchy history and current state of the FUN.TOWN.CLUB and its historical significance. It will also point to how Wanhua’s historical buildings have a connection with the residents: not just the foundation of local identity but a unifying force among the residents of Dali Street, who have taken the initiative to preserve their shared historical memory.
