2022 Taipei Highlight Monuments and Historic Sites: Walk among new memories of Taipei

This year’s Taipei Highlight Monuments and Historic Sites takes the theme of “Walk among new memories of Taipei”. After the opening ceremony, a range of exciting guided tours will be held every Saturday and Sunday until October 29. The 10 routes and 20 guided tours include:


    Cultural treasures of Beitou Creek: a walk through Beitou, the pioneering site of cultural preservation in Taipei

    A walk through development stories of new streets: to witness the glory days of old streets

    Down the art corridors of ancient buildings

    A peek at an inverted city beneath the glamour

    Art corridors of Guangfu South Road

    A gathering of Chengnan literature of alley ways

    Passing on the cultural contexts of the era

    Looking back on the pop music of the golden era

    Songs of Taiwan under the Taiwanese Cultural Association

    Life stories from Ximen to Monga


Tours will be helmed by celebrity guides and expert guides from the Taipei City Archives, who will provide professional guidance and lead participants on visits of areas rich in cultural treasures, such as Zhongshan, Xinyi, Chengnan, Chengnei, Monga, and Dadaocheng.
