The "2012 Taipei Creative Show," a delightful olio of urban features and scenes, started up October 27 in XinBeitou Park. The show is a closely-planned tour which leads visitors in a tour around Taipei for a highly creative way of viewing the city. Taipei is full of many charming alleys and by-ways, and this activity takes place mainly in the areas of Beitou, Wenluoding, Wanhua, and Dadaocheng.

Liu Wei-gong, the Commissioner of the Departmentthe of Cultural Affairs, Taipei City Government noted in opening the show that every alley, every corner in Taipei is a unique part of the cultural landscape. This includes the sidewalks as well as more commonly perceived 'cultural' institutions like libraries or museums.

In addition, the activity also provides creative window displays, wide-ranging creative seminars, pleasantly surprising guided walks, live performances that feature originality and other interesting treats.
