"My City, My Voice. Go Taipei Design" will be held again in Ashanti Plaza in Xinyi district on December 29, inviting the public once more to make a wish by using colorful stones from Taipei city to build a "Wishing Wall" together.

The children put their wishing stones on the wall. There are two areas in "My City, My Voice. Go Taipei Design" including a theme area and a wish area. These are intended to help people understand the innovative designs that go into wonderful presentations on behalf of the city. There is a big wall proclaiming "I ♥ TAIPEI" where people are invited to fill up the wall with wishing stones in five colors. The wishing wall will be lit at night to offer a warm atmosphere during the chill of winter.

The five colors of the wishing stones represent different hopes and challenges for the city: green represents the city, red represents urban decay, blue represents the aging population, orange means innovative concepts, and silver represents industrial restructuring.

Every citizen who takes part in this activity will be given a sequence numbers for Taipei's wish and an innovative poster to bring home their wishes.

A big wall proclaiming Since Taipei City announced that the city was entering the competition for World Design Capital (WDC) in 2016, many related activities have been held including a Theme Zone, TWDW Presents, the 3X3 Design Show, Rising Star, a Design Bazaar, a Design Workshop, Let's Talk Design, Go Design, Buy Design, Design Links, Open House, and Design Cinema, to help Taipei citizens see the clear design perspective, which is that the Taipei government is really striving to win the World Design Capital (WDC) in 2016.

The main objective in WDC Taipei 2016 is to implement the "Design Is People" concept, with the aim of improving the quality of the city's environment and enriching the lives of its citizens. Thus "My City, My Voice. Go Taipei Design" invites citizens to write down their wishes for Taipei city in order to make the city a better place to live in the future.
