Taipei Arts and Travel Network

The Taipei Arts and Travel Network is the Department of Cultural Affairs' strategy to link together all the venues and organizations under its umbrella, through information exchange, collective marketing and resource sharing, as part of the "Taipei City Arts Space and Cultural Infrastructure Resources Integration Plan." In addition, by distributing Taipei Arts and Travel Network sponsor cards, we hope to build an overall marketing system for the city's cultural events, through the cooperation of public and private organizations, expanding alliances among cultural industries, and increasing the number of cultural manufacturers and consumers.

Developing Taipei City's cultural industries

Based on the Cultural Policy White Paper, Taipei City is in the midst of designing a cultural industry development strategy, with the establishment of the Taipei City Cultural Industry Development Committee; establishing a culture-oriented industrial park, as a high quality environment for development of cultural industry; marketing cultural tourism destinations; presenting an Old Taipei cultural tourism promotion plan, to increase exhibition and performance venues, in order to promote the development of the performing arts; and stimulating the development of publication, commercial design and other cultural industries, through a development plan and assistance in exhibition and sales.
