The Taipei Arts Festival aims to foster the performing arts and the development of the performing arts industry, and to promote arts education and increase participation rates in arts and culture events. We hope not only to bring together government, industry and private-sector resources, but also to build a cooperative network among performing arts groups from Taipei and other cities of the world. The Taipei Arts Festival seeks to "elaborate on tradition" by presenting multidisciplinary creationsintegrating traditional and modern elements, based on a different theme each year.
