Puppetry Art Center of Taipei
Origins of the Puppetry Art Center of Taipei In 1998, Lin Ching-fu, chairman of the Taiyuan Arts and Culture Foundation, generously donated his personal collection of puppets, which he had gathered over several decades. With the meticulous planning of the Taipei City Government and through the Core Pacific Group’s community contribution project at Core Pacific City, the Puppetry Art Center of Taipei was established, ensuring the long-term preservation of these invaluable collections. Since its opening in 2004, the Center has consistently promoted exhibitions, performances, and educational programs, fulfilling its mission of advancing the appreciation and education of puppetry.
