Delicious snacks are what first come to mind when you think of Wanhua. Food and culture lead the way at the Longshan Cultural and Creative Base for the Longshan Animation Festival Exhibition, held in November. Although presented in the form of an exhibition, the event is in fact a series of co-creation processes: voting for the iconic delicacies of Wanhua, creating anime characters, Wanhua Food Gang characters making sparkly debuts, exhibiting winning works from primary school drawing contests, and members of the public sharing their special memories of Wanhua delicacies. The event will enable locals and visitors to get a taste of Wanhua snacks, followed by a stroll around the creative base to admire the works and stories of co-creation with the public and the chance to get to know the adorable Wanhua Food Gang.
