The 2024 Taipei Lantern Festival covers the area from Ximen Station to Beimei Station on Zhonghua Rd., Section 1, including landmarks such as Red House, Zhongshan Hall, and Beimen North Gate Square, popular spots for celebrating the Lunar New Year in Taipei. 

During the Lunar New Year holiday from February 11 to 14 (the second and fifth days of the lunar calendar), Red House will host a four-day New Year–themed market event which will enable everyone to welcome the new year with energy and vitality in a joyful atmosphere. 

On February 12 (the third day), well-known Taiwanese lion dance troupe Taipei Ching Ho Kuang Lion Dance Troupe will perform at Red House, bringing good luck and prosperity for the entire year. Join us in as we usher in the Spring Festival and receive blessings!

The Prosperous Dragon Always Comes—New Year’s Gift (好運龍總來新春小禮): From now until March 3, visit the Red House in Ximen, complete a Facebook check-in inside the venue, and receive a “Prosperous Dragon Always Comes” Commemorative Card (好運龍總來 斗方賀卡). Availability is limited, so be sure to come to Red House during the Lunar New Year and enjoy a relaxed itinerary of lantern viewing while you explore cultural and creative exhibits.
