2.    Department of Cultural Affairs, Taipei City Government: Cultural and Creative Industry Sustainability Cultivation Plan (文化創意產業永續培育計畫)

To promote the sustainable development of Taipei’s cultural and creative industries by supporting innovative projects in the cultural and creative sector, the Department has launched the Cultural and Creative Industry Sustainability Grant (文化創意產業永續補助). Management agencies may also lay down rules on whether to charge fees—such as rental, cleaning fees, or deposits—and may specify how performers are permitted to raise money at performances (e.g. voluntary donations or set prices).

If a venue is not listed on the platform, it is not open for performance, regardless of the performer’s registration status. Unauthorized performances should be reported to the local police station, who will enforce public order.

A1:    The Ministry of Culture, the central competent authority for this Act, has set up a dedicated section with specifically assigned personnel to handle the reporting of scalpers. You are encouraged to use the relevant online resources or contact the Ministry of Culture’s Scalper Reporting Service Hotline on 02-85211850.

Q2:    How can I check the progress of my case?

A2:    Visit the website for the Ministry of Culture’s Scalper Reporting Section  Navigate to the “Progress Inquiry” page, and enter your email address, case number, and verification code to check the current status of your case.

Q3:    The system shows that my case has been assigned to Taipei City Government. How can I contact the person in charge to find out about the state of the investigation?

A3:    The Taipei City Government Department of Cultural Affairs handles scalper reporting cases and will request the necessary information on the reported individual from the relevant entities or bodies (such as ticketing platforms, telecom operators, banks, household registration offices, police units, etc.), on the basis of the evidence provided to the reporting system. However, the personal data of both complainant and respondent are protected by law, so information on specific cases cannot be disclosed. 

What details should I provide?

According to the Regulations on Handling and Rewarding Reporting Cases, Article 10-1 of the Development of the Cultural and Creative Industries Act (檢舉案件處理及獎勵辦法), the following information must be provided when reporting illegal ticket resale: 

•    the platform on which the resale was advertised

and

•    tickets details (e.g. date & time, venue, event, seat number)

or

•    records of the scalper’s purchase of tickets using false information or improper methods (e.g. ticket-sale app logs)

2.     Conditions

All posters must be posted within the city and must comply with all size specifications and other conditions stipulated in the Application Instructions.

3.     Poster Numbers and Locations 

A total of 343 posters across 6 stations on the Bannan Line: Longshan Temple Station (33), Ximen Station (134), Zhongxiao Fuxing Station (48), Zhongxiao Dunhua Station (51), Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Station (37), Taipei City Hall Station (40).

The first large-scale arts education project in Taipei to integrate artistic resources into compulsory education, the concert works in line with Arts and Humanities curricula, program seamlessly integrating cultural and artistic experiences into formal curricula.

The Taipei Symphony Orchestra School Concert has been specifically designed for fifth-grade elementary school students in Taipei City to enable them to gain a clearer understanding of symphony orchestras and learn to express their emotions.

This office integrates and coordinates resources from the public and private sector to provide tangible support to cultural creative entrepreneurs, fostering the development of the fifteen major cultural creative industries.

3.    Project Office for Cultural Creative Industries Market Circulation and Expansion Plan

This office helps the cultural creative companies take part in major international exhibitions and organizes two major events: the Creative Expo Taiwan and International Exposition.
