2025 Taipei Traditional Arts Festival II: Concert

On June 1, the closing concert of the Traditional Arts Festival will feature A Summit of Erhu Virtuosi. The performance will bring together principal conductors from three renowned orchestras: Baoshun Li, Principal Conductor of the Singapore Chinese Orchestra, Chongxue Zhang, former Principal Conductor of the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, and Ming-yu Wang, Principal Conductor of the Taipei Chinese Orchestra. The concert will showcase classic erhu concertos, offering fans a musical feast.


This year’s artists also include conductor Chunquan Qu; flautists Zhen Li, Yung-ming Chan, Ya Tai, Yong-zhi Sun, and Hsin-ling Han; yangqin performers Ting-yu Chen and Wan-lin Du; as well as local Taiwanese art groups Taiwan Yangqin Development Association, Game Troupe (遊戲團), Shintrun Taiwanese Opera Troupe, Hsin-Music Chinese Orchestra, Jade Dance Theatre, Lui Im Theater, Lee Veng Aesthetics Theatre, PIPA-ensemble, Jinlin Drama Troupe (金麟戲劇團), ProHCO Ensemble (心籟絲竹室內樂團), Yi-Shin Taiwanese Opera Troupe, MHY-Huang Taiwanese Opera Troupe (明華園黃字戲劇團), Xin Le Yuan Drama Troupe (新樂園戲劇團), Junhan Music Troupe (君涵樂坊), Shadow Percussion, Song Kun Performing Art Group, and the Cantonese Music Assembly from overseas.
