The theme of the 2023 Railway Lifestyle Festival is “Traveling with Trains”. In collaboration with the Beitou Hot Spring Museum, Beitou Plum Garden, Beitou Heart Village, and various partners within the Beitou community, this festival showcases the diverse cultural facets of Beitou. 

During this event, at least five lectures, handicraft workshops, and cultural excursions with Hakka cultural themes will be held at the Taipei City Hakka Cultural Park. Through the lens of traveling by train, attendees will learn about and explore Hakka culture, with the railway serving as a connecting thread to narrate the Hakka people’s experience of the railway, uncovering more of the life stories of the Hakka community in Beitou.

From local collaborations to cross-domain connections, the Railway Lifestyle Festival extends its reach to a wider audience, allowing the railway to be presented through different cultural lenses to a wide audience. The 2023 Xinbeitou Historic Station Railway Lifestyle Festival is about to embark on its journey, and we invite you to join us as we travel by trains!
